Seussical The Musical

This week, we had NASDA come and perform, Suessical the Musical.

Something that I enjoyed about this performance was the characters, they all had a role which, I think fits each person’s personality. I also liked this guy that does the back flips.

Something that I found interesting about this performance was how they were all in time – no delays, and also how talented they were! – it was like a performance with gifted people.

Something new that I learned was that they, performers take a long time to practice, it might even take them a year!, or even more!

Have you seen/watched Seussical the Musical?

The NZ Opera Show

This week, we had the New Zealand Opera come and perform, The Elixir of Love.

Something that I enjoyed about this performance was the actors, and I liked how the characters are made, it makes their personality differently.

Something that I found interesting about this performance was their voices, it fits in their characters. I didn’t expect their voices to be amazing!

Something that I learned about opera was, you should never give up.

Have you been to an Opera show before?

Samoan Language Week!

This week was Samoan language week, so we learned some words and numbers of the Samoan language from watching a video. We ate Samoan food called Sapa Sui , because Logan kindly  brought his traditional food for us to try! Some people didn’t want to eat, but that was okay. I thought it was delicious

Have you tried this Samoan food before?

Jairus’ Book Review

Title: Tom Gates

Author: Liz Pichon

Genre: Fiction, Graphic Novel, Comedy

What is this book about? It’s about Tom Gates and as he progresses through home and school life. Tom has a teacher named Mr. Fullerman, he has his eyes on everything.I would recommend this book for people who likes Fiction, Graphic Novel, Comedy. My favourite part of the book was when Tom Gates drew pictures in his book, without his teachers seeing! He does this because he likes to doodle!

Andrew Chinn

                                                                      Andrew Chinn

This week, we had Andrew Chinn come to our school to perform.

He is from Australia , Woollengong and a Religious singer and very funny .

He performed on the 29th of February 2024 ( leap year ).

What was really fun in the performance was the people could come up to the                                                                                   stage and  dance with him.

We sing a lot of his songs . He  came here to meet us  in person.

Something I liked about the performance was his songs , it was really cool in a fun way for                                                                           children to get entertained.

Something that I learned from this was all the songs talk about Jesus/God  and having                                                                               a happy/enjoyable  life .

Question : How did he become a singer.
